Hello and welcome to my blog!
My name is Eva, I am from Austria and 22 years old. I study Sports-, Culture- and Eventmanagement and will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in July 2013. At the moment I am doing an exchange semester abroad in Barcelona.
Besides my great interest in different cultures and languages I am also very enthusiastic about journalism, especially in terms of politics and society. During my journalistic work I experienced the importance of infographics. Visualizing data is an essential part of journalism and present in every single newspaper one can find. For this reason I started studying Graphic Design, with a special focus on visualizing data in forms of infographics. I really enjoy creating these graphics and converting information into design, making it understandable for my audience. Also I like the fact that infographics are not only blank data but furthermore have an aesthetic aspect, which makes it some kind of an art form.
After working a lot on infographics and creating some designs I decided to make my work public.The goal of this blog is to keep developing my skills and share it with you. Also I would be happy to read a lot of comments of you on everything I will upload here, so I can keep improving. Thank you for visitng my blog and have fun looking through my posts!
